COVID-19 Temporary Office Closures

Updated: Jun 2, 2020

Due to concern regarding the continued spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Maine, ProsperityME will be closing our offices to the general public starting on Monday, March 16, 2020 through Friday, March 27, 2020 out of an abundance of caution and the desire to help protect vulnerable members of our community from infection. We will also be CANCELLING all of our classes and events during that two-week period.  As a small nonprofit, we recognize that closing our office can have ramifications for many in the community who rely on our services. Although we will not be able to welcome you in our Portland or Lewiston offices for the next two weeks, our staff WILL be working remotely. We are committed to continuing to serve the immigrant and business communities through this difficult time.   We will continue to follow the advice of the Maine CDC as the pandemic progresses and keep you updated regarding our office closures. This was a difficult decision to make, but we believe it is in the best interest of our clients, partners, volunteers, friends, and families.  We thank you for your patience and understanding.  PLEASE continue to follow the expert health advice from the Maine CDC as the COVID-19 pandemic develops in Maine and throughout the United States. We encourage you to visit the Maine CDC website to learn more about appropriate prevention measures. Stay safe and we hope to be seeing you again (in-person) in two-weeks time.  Our best to you and your family,

Claude Rwaganje Executive Director, ProsperityME
